I am glad to inform signers that I am now able to offer online notarizations through the Notarize.com platform! This means you will be able to complete your notarizations from any location, at your convenience through a desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile device. I realize you may have questions, so I’ve included some information to ease any concerns and share the remarkable benefits of this opportunity.
What is Remote Online Notarization?
Notarize.com is the platform I use to allow signers to connect online using audio/visual technology (you pick the time and date) with an electronic notary public, so they may seamlessly sign and notarize U.S. documents ranging from simple agreements to real estate closings. There are documents that are excluded, such as immigration papers, wills, I-9 and others we will address as needed.
What does the online notarization process look like?
Here’s what you can expect:
● As your notary, once we have connected by email, and I have received your request for online notarization, I will prepare and send to you an invitation by email containing the document you have provided. One click, and you will connect with me (your notary) on the Notarize platform at a time of your choosing.
● Notarize verifies your identity using a suite of ID verification tools. (More secure than in-person notarization)
● You will then connect with me on a secure, two-way video call on which I will guide you through the signing process. (Scheduled, of course, at your convenience based on appointment availability.)
● Once completed and payment is received, documents will be ready to download and share instantly. How does this benefit you?
● Ease of use and the benefit of a designated notary to securely handle your transaction based on YOUR schedule. Notarize.com’s award-winning platform requires no fancy hardware. Signers simply need Internet access on a computer, tablet, or smartphone that includes a microphone and camera. Notarize takes care of the rest!
